I miss you most.

I miss you most.

I miss you most when moments come,
When life feels loud, or far too numb.
When something big unfolds anew,
And I just don’t know what to do.

You always knew the words to say,
To guide the clouds and clear the way.
Now when events light up the skies,
I look for comfort in your eyes.

I miss you when a place feels right,
A hidden café bathed in light,
A street you’d stroll with such delight—
It aches you’re not here in my sight.

I miss you when I find a place,
That only suits your warmth and grace.
When I want no one else around,
But you to walk on this new ground.

I miss you when you're who I need,
When love feels scarce or hearts don’t heed.
When I find somewhere worth the fuss,
You're the one I want to bring with us.

Distance can stretch from here to there,
But you still show up everywhere—
In all my thoughts, in all my days,
In little looks and certain ways.

One day soon, I hope we’ll be
In the same place, just you and me.
Until that time, this much stays true—
There’s no one quite like you.
